$7KiddMike7$
i think its Schilling. The one thing the Red Sox needed and they got. STARTING PITCHING!!! now if they add A-Rod to that lineup. WOW!! Unstoppable
Shamrock
Schilling is in that elite crop of pitchers and forms possibly the best 1-2 combo ever.
SorianoFanHFW
Not to be biased, but Vazquez is a better pitcher than Schilling. He's cheaper too, and though it cost the yanks more prospect wise because of the infamous "yankee tax", if the yanks sign this guy to an extension before the season starts, they get a relative steal compared to schilling. If they are dumb enough to let him become a FA, the trade was totally useless.

Giving up Nick Johnson is no small price to pay...I see him developing into at least a Giambi type player.

There's no contest, it's advantage Red Sox. The Yankees essentially had to replace Clemens and maybe even Pettitte. Schilling is a pure addition to a blockbuster team whose only weak spot was its rotation.
