Luis Castillo is a 23-year old and has been in the Marlins systems since 2012 and comes from the Dominican Summer League. Has 132 career appearances but is transitioning to a starter full-time this year. Career 2.79 ERA with a 1.19 WHIP in all levels in the minors.

Last season spent time in Jupiter and Greensboro and thus far this season has pitched 16 innings allowing two earned runs, while walking three and striking out 12.

Why is Urena still starting? He has shown an inability to get guys to swing and miss at the Major League level, a critical element for his type of pitching. He should be used in one or two inning relief stints so he can only face each batter once and get a little more life on his pitches. It's frustrating that he's still being used as a starter when he could be a plus reliever.
