Admin
Yahoo Sports' Jeff Passan reports that the Astros have agreed to a deal with free agent outfielder Josh Reddick, pending a physical. The Astros are having themselves quite the afternoon. Per Passan, the deal is worth $52 million over four years. Reddick, who turns 30 in February, batted .281/.345/.405 with 10 homers and 37 RBI over 115 games this past season between the Athletics and Dodgers. He'll slot into a corner outfield spot with his new club. Reddick was not eligible for a qualifying offer since he was traded midseason, so the Astros won't have to give up a draft pick in order to sign him. With the additions of Reddick and Brian McCann, the Astros' lineup suddenly looks more potent from the left side. RotoWorld
