Posted January 5, 200421 yr http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=1699171 Don't worry Big Hugg, Ted Ginn Jr. is on the way, and he will make everybody in Columbus forget about Gamble :thumbup
January 6, 200421 yr Gamble Really could have used another year in school. He relies on athletic ability rather than fundamental skills, which he won't get away with in the nfl.
January 6, 200421 yr Gamble definitely could have used another year, but I don't blame him. He's got a national title, he's got 2 BCS wins, he might as well get his money now although he probably would have been a Top 10 next year. He is lacking in fundamentals, but he also is still able to be molded into what his new coach will want him to be, as opposed to having a set style that his new coach would have to break. He's a high-ceiling kind of guy, he's going to be a hell of an NFL corner, it's just a question of how long it'll take. And Maggs, I know all about Teddy Ginn and I can't wait. He'll play a lot next year, unless he qualifies for the Olympics, then he'll redshirt.
January 6, 200421 yr bad decision? are you guys kidding? gamble is a lock for going in the first round. as soon as you're a lock for going in the first round, your best decision is to enter the draft ASAP before your stock drops. he has nothing to gain and everything to lose by staying another year.
