Posted January 16, 200421 yr The county continues to prepare its proposal to the team. It was not submitted this week, as I was previously informed. This site is going to be pitched to the team in the near future, I just don't know when. The county is doing the usual rain and traffic studies. Speaking of rain, my information is that the stadium being proposed on this site will not have a roof either. I think the roof is being eliminated for similar reasons as the Orange Bowl site - cost and size. A roof requires significantly more land from what I understand. This site still lacks a financing proposal so don't get too excited but with no land or roof cost they can't be too far off.

January 16, 200421 yr gobucks, I hope you are right. I'm dying to see the proposal, so the Fish at least have another viable option out there. Can a roof be added later like on the OB?
January 16, 200421 yr I'm still guessing its the easternmost lot at PPS or as a fall back the FDOT site in Golden Glades.
January 16, 200421 yr Author Mordecai, I said the "site" was awesome. Most of the stadium design issues are and were unknown to me.
