January 22, 200422 yr Wow! Me and Mel agreed for the 1st time ever! I have the Packers taking DE Antwan Odom in my mock up as well. The kid's a beast, and then the Pack goes and picks up Sanders or Schweigert in Round 2 and we're in good shape. BTW: I also have the Dolphins taking Losman.
January 22, 200422 yr Rivers for Dolphins QB. I saw a few of his games and he can run it, throw the deep ball, and is a very smart QB that makes few bad decisions. I hope the Dolphins in the 2nd round get a Vernon Carey type guy for the OL. If he is available, the Dolphins better take him, no more defense. This is the year to focus on offense in the early rounds considering we have Corey Jenkins waiting in the ranks, who looks to be one of our best picks last year. please no. he has a terrible delivery that's much too low, his arm isn't very strong, and he's on the slow side. the main reason he won't be very effective in the NFL is because of his inability to throw balls hard. and no, he's not very good with deep passes. he did well in college because of NC state's heavy, heavy emphasis on short passes. that won't cut it in the NFL because the attentiveness, speed, and tackling of the defenses are so much better. being able to throw long passes is critical in the nfl (haven't us dolphins fans learned this?) and philip just doesn't cut it. he can't throw on the run, either. i'd love it if we could get losman. he has a great arm, a great release, good speed, and basically all the tools needed to turn into a franchise QB.

January 22, 200422 yr Yes I believe Rivers is the 3rd best QB in the draft alkazoid. But I believe that the Fins will take Losman. I'll go and post my mock up.
