Another pretty damn good ex QB to replace Marino?

Featured Replies

According to this morning's Herald, Bernie Kosar is being considered as a possible candidate to replace Dan Marino...

Thoughts?

i heard shula is to

I think the debate's pointless, the job wasn't a real one anyway.

agreed.

this is the stupidest job ever, and bernie kosar is a douche who basically devoted himself to football in cleveland after we gave him the ol' boot.

i have to agree, he was not going to have any real power. he was just going to give his opinion to wayne. whoever gets this job will just be the football ears and eyes for wayne.

When repeatedly asked as to what the job would entail, Huizinga would pull some random words out of his a**. Just listen to some of those press conferences. I bet you that he gave Marino this job to calm the fans after they announced that Wannstedt was staying. Stupid idea.

My theory is that Marino was actually under the impression this was a real job, but when he tried to make a move, he was blocked and learned otherwise. So, he naturally quit.

Of course the Dolphins will look to find someone else to fill the spot, though, just to make it look like it wasn't a figurehead position.
