February 9, 200422 yr Take all your 80's/early 90's stereotypes and shove them. Miami recruits one kid with a bad record and all of the sudden the don't care about character. North Carolina obviously doesn't care about quality football players when they are recruiting, and you don't see me complaining.
February 9, 200422 yr UNC's last two recruiting classes have been of pretty good quality actually. Ranked in top 20. But that is besides the point. Florida State has had more problems recently I guess but with Williams and if this is true about this guy then Miami is going back to those early 90s type teams. But at FSU they have had all kinds of problems as of late.
February 9, 200422 yr I don't see how one recruit sets us back 10+ years. What if the university takes this kid in and turns his life around and makes him a decent human being?
February 9, 200422 yr actually, UM has some of the highest academic standards of any school in the entire NCAA for football recruits. every year we lose a couple potential recruits cuz they don't have the minimum football academic requirements. UF and FSU take them.
February 9, 200422 yr Author I guess UM told Najeh Davenport to keep from crapping in people's closets until he graduated... :lol :lol :lol
February 9, 200422 yr actually, UM has some of the highest academic standards of any school in the entire NCAA for football recruits. Compared to the other Florida schools. Probably a couple SEC and Big 12 schools (*cough* Oklahoma *cough*) too, but that's because UM is run in part by fathers, not incompetent bureaucrats at those other schools.
