March 6, 200422 yr Castro just continues to impress. The game winning hit was a double off the top of the wall.....about 398 feet out in deep center field. He hit another to the warning track earlier. During batting practice Castro hit one up on the 2nd level patio above the Marlins clubhouse.....a towering hit. He also was solid behind the plate. Nice job handling the pitchers.
March 6, 200422 yr i think ramon will be great this year also. but it is very common for a player to rip it up in the exhibition games and choke dring the regular season. lets not be certain he is going to do great by two exhibitition games. by no means am i doubting him, i am actually pretty sure he will do good. but i am sure by his overall talent not by two spring training games

So looks like he carried that into ST. All signs are pointing to success right now.....fingers crossed that catcher won't be a concern this year... Wish I could say the same about 1B.
March 7, 200422 yr Heep Sop didn;t do much. I know he struck out twice. I think he did get a hit, though.
March 7, 200422 yr Thats awsome to see Castro come through again, lets just hope he can keep it alive during the season.
