hot4beckett
Marlins update Posted March 7 2004 Today's opponent: Baltimore Orioles at Roger Dean Stadium, 1:05 p.m. TV: None. Radio: WQAM (560-AM). Pitching plans: RHP Carl Pavano will start for the Marlins. Scheduled to follow Pavano are RHP Chad Fox, RHP Mike Neu, LHP Matt Perisho and RHP Toby Borland. RHP Kurt Ainsworth will start for Baltimore. Worth noting: Trevor Hutchison had a good outing in his spring debut, pitching two scoreless innings in Saturday morning's B game against the Mets. "After the first two hitters, I got loosened up," said Hutchison, who was the Marlins' minor league pitcher of the year after going a combined 12-5 with a 3.09 ERA for Class A Jupiter and Double-A Carolina. "I threw mostly fastballs, just trying to work on grooving it," said Hutchison, who gave up one hit and one walk in the Marlins' 3-2 win. ... This will be the third time the Marlins have faced the Orioles in four days. The teams split the first two games, with Baltimore winning 6-5 Thursday in Fort Lauderdale and the Marlins winning 6-0 Friday in Jupiter. ... Pavano had his best season last year, going 12-13 with a 4.30 ERA in the regular season, then playing a pivotal role in the playoffs. He started two games and came out of the bullpen in six others, going 2-0 with a 1.40 ERA in the postseason. ... RHP Josh Beckett will make his second spring start Monday against Montreal. ... RHP Armando Benitez, the Marlins' new closer, is scheduled to make his first appearance Monday. - Ted Hutton

mongoose
I'm sorry CapeFish but these glasses I am wearing must belong to a cross-eyed umpire. I can't see the TV schedule on the grid of games @ floridamarlins.com. Which games/dates are you pointing out for TV broadcast? :shifty
