UM's loss last night to West Virginia eliminated them from being in the Big East tourney.

i thought after the close loss to pitt that we actually could go on to have a nice season, maybe make the national tourney. instead they just fell apart. i agree, clark needs to go

inconsistent would be the word to describe him. i think he averaged 15-16 points and scored 16 last night. he's looking at a mid to late 2nd round pick i think. i dont think it would be a stretch to say its possible he wont get drafted

Clark has to go. He can't coach and he can't recruit. I've heard Mike Jarvis' name mentioned, but he'd be no different than keeping Clark. UM should go after Matt Doherty.

Matt Doherty would be a very good idea. I am a UNC fan and he did a great job getting recruits. I think he learned a lot at Carolina and I hope he gets another shot soon. However I'm not sure if he would want to coach in the ACC again. That would probably be awkward for him having to coach against the Heels in the Dean Dome. He would rather coach at St. John's or somewhere else.

 

Another good idea is someone from Kryzewski's staff at Duke. Johnny Dawkins is his first assistant I believe and he could probably do an excellent job. Another idea would be someone from Pitino's staff.

Considering the raw deal he got at UNC so they could get Roy Williams in there, I somehow don't think Doherty would have too much of a problem coaching against them these days. What they did to him was pure BS.
