  1. Does anyone have access to the scouting reports? Curious to read what they have to say
  2. Agree. Most of these guys are under control until at least 2018. "If" most these players develop the Marlins could be sitting on a decent team by 2015/16. If the Marlins play it like Cleveland in the early 90's and sign a few through their first couple of years of free agency than there is no reason (other than Loria) of them having a nice five year run of being competitive.
  3. Heard it was One Direction. I wonder who was going to be in concert.
  4. "Investigation" is a strong word for an "audit," which is fairly standard and routine in the Finance world. http://m.miamiherald.com/mh/db_42928/contentdetail.htm?contentguid=jg8eKAij well, you can't say this is a shocker.
  5. Realistic signings... 1B * K.Morales is intriguing - power, lefty. Whether he can play 1B is the question. * Loney is also intriguing - a stud on defense and gives you OBP 3B * Chavez can be a cheap 1-2 year stopgap until Moran arrives - gives you defense and decent OBP ("Polanco-type") C * Pierzynski would get my vote - durable, gets on base * Trade one of the pitchers (Flynn, Conley, even Nicolino) for a young offensive-oriented ML-ready catcher Potential Lineup: Yelich LF * Chavez 3B Stanton RF * Morales/Loney 1B Ozuna CF Dietrich 2B * Pierzynski/[young ML-ready guy in trade] C Hechavarria SS
