  1. My vote goes to Redman, he's been awesome. :arms
  2. "DLee and Pudge is the man", etc... Message board whores..... From a D. Lee thread to Blind Date to the Jerry Springer show. :jerry
  3. Hi there everyone. I have been lurking on these boards for a while now. I am a big Marlin fan, have been since forever, at least for me. My name is Leslie. I am an 18 year old young woman. Hope to chat about my favorite baseball team in the world. Go Marlins! Welcome to the board, Amo.
  4. Thought I'd give this site a try, I see we already have another female already here o darn . Well I hope to post a lot and bear with me while I get used to it. Welcome to the board Ms. Marlin. Yeah, I hear Sunrise is a pretty tough hood. Gotta watch out for those retirees chillin with their peeps on the tour buses on the way to Sawgrass Mills. LOL! :lol
  5. Since I'm on a Mac, I can't seem to get into the chat room. :boo-woo Couldn't we get a room on IRC somewhere which isn't platform independent?
  6. Penny gets it. What does it take for him to hold a lead? :headscratch
  7. What in the world was Pudge running for?!
  8. Penny is inconsistent.. he has had games where he has been great, don't get me wrong. But he is consistent in giving up a lot of runs early in the game, a lot of times after the Marlins have scored. Most of the time he shuts it down after that, usually after allowing 4 or 5 in one inning, though. I think I remember Tommy Hutton in one of the games mention something about Penny not getting loose enough before he comes in the game. If that's the case, then Rosenthall needs to help him work it out. Otherwise, he needs to start pitching (not just throwing whever he gets in a jam) and stop blaming others for his problems (ie D. Lee and McKeon).
  9. As much as I wanted to give it to Mikey, Redman has been awesome. He has my vote.
  10. Willis definetly. When he's at the plate, he really takes some hacks!
  11. I voted for Almanza. Pavano may have been terrible in yesterday's game, but he's pretty much been our best pitcher so far. He's not going to have best stuff out there every time.
  12. Pavano definetly. He's been awesome. His record doen't reflect his performance, though - taking the losses in the 20 inning game and in Arizona when he was out of his normal routine. His control has been great too.. only 1.57 walks per 9 innings! I think when Redman comes back, they can be the top 2 starters. Hollandsworth is also deserving, he's leading the team in doubles. But it goes to Pavano this time around.
  13. Like Hotcorner said, Lee's performance hasn't suprised me, my vote is for Almanza. Pudge is the runner up, though.
  14. I'm with Torborg on this one. Pudge is on a hot streak right now.. he also has a career .304 average vs. left-handed pitchers.
  15. I chose Nunez. He's been terrible over the last two games. He really needs to get his stuff together being one of our important set up guys.
