  1. I was also converted last October, and if it wasn't for me being down at school, i'd be at both games
  2. Of course i am biased, but i think buehrle should go. (he should already be there in place of loaiza) too bad torre said that he told MLB to just pick the next pitcher on the players vote list
  3. I'm not sure if yours will be the same, but the Sox also have fuji film day every year and it is an awesome experience! all of the fans lined up all along the warning track and the players walked down the line on the outfield grass. we had all but 2 i think from the 25 man rooster along with many of the coaches out there, and everyone was able to get individual pictures will all of the players. to those of you going, enjoy!
  4. thanks for explaining the comment to me... while i agree with you that there may be some sox fans here to antagonize the cubs, others like myself truely enjoy reading about and seeing the marlins. in fact, i just got back from miami last night and got to see my first marlins game last wednesday, which was a great game to be at i will continue to wish you all the best of luck and show my support in any way that i can!
  5. gee thanks.... i didn't think it was a bad think for other fans to be interested in your team
  6. Thanks! And just to let you all know, there are plenty of people in Chicago (the real fans of course), who are rooting the Marlins on and will not give up on them anytime soon!
  7. sorry... i submitted too soon... i just wanted to say that I do not know everything about your team, but enjoy watching them and am excited to go to my first game. SO yes, i am a bandwagoner, bu do not see anything wrong with that, since i do not pretend to be an expert on the team.
  8. Hey everyone... I have been frequently viewing this message board to try to keep up with the latest Marlins news, but I do have to admit that I am what you would call a "bandwagoner". I have been a die hard white sox fan for my entire life, and yes I could ramble off facts and statistics to anyone concerning Magglio, Frank, or anyone else on the team. However, I can not do the same for your Marlins team. I have just begun following the Marlins only since last years playoffs, and have tickets to a game at Pro Player in late June for my first Marlins game. The Marlins have become a second team for me, and if I lived closer, I would go to more games, but since I am in Chicago I spent my money on my first team, the White Sox.
