Albuquerque Tribune: Pitcher Allen Levrault appeared to change his mind and will come to Albuquerque. The roster addition is expected to become official today, Treanor said. When the Marlins traded for Urgueth Urbina, they outrighted Levrault to Albuquerque to clear roster space. That means he had 72 hours to accept or reject the decision. He rejected it and became a free agent. But on Wednesday, Treanor said Levrault had signed a minor league contract with Florida after all. He began the season with the Isotopes but received a promotion to Florida on April 25.

There's something about setting your players up for success, they say. One appearance in 22 days for Allen Levrault, that the Red Sox blow-out loss... The funny thing is Allen pitched four scoreless innings in two consecutive days against the Mets just prior to this stretch. Yeah, he was giving up hits, but pitching out of trouble. Now he's got a built-in excuse for the next tough outing. Hopefully he won't need it. And now he's the "long guy". That's cool, no problem. Still better than Albuquerque, I'm sure he'd say... Not complaining as a Levy hometown fan, just saying that you've got to find a spot for a "stay sharp" inning somewhere within a stretch like that, you would think...
