Doesn't look like Levy will be a September call-up.

I enjoyed following the Marlins to some extent this year -- it was Levrault's time in Florida that brought me on board.

As a Brewer fan (Allen's original club), I'm thrilled to see you guys doing so well and upholding the good name of a smaller-market club.

Good luck and take care!

Vladdy Nunez may be going on the DL too

I wanted allen to come up he's so good.

whats wrong with The Impailer?

tightness in the shoulder

i hear he's been doin well in AAA

Damn I wanted Vlady to come up and prove he can be part of our bullpen again even though he isnt going to get that much work with Urbina and Looper are pitching almost everygame....

that's a shame, i was pulling for Levrault to get another shot.

Anybody see this in the linked article MassBrew posted?

The team is likely to lose the services of reliever Juan Alvarez. He was ejected from the game on Saturday for arguing balls and strikes.

Alvarez did not go quietly. He threw a ball bag out of the dugout. Then came a bat. Then came a baseball.

That's going to cost him about a three to five game suspension and a fine from the Pacific Coast League, Treanor said.

If Alvarez is suspended, the team cannot add a player to fill his spot on the roster. Treanor was visibly angry at Alvarez for his tantrum.

Guess the Marlin "heat" goes deep!
