Okay, sorry about the Cabrerra thing. I did not know that he was married. But if you consider being friendly to stick your tongue in someone else's mouth, then yes, Miguel was being "friendly". Do you guys think the players read this board anyway?

No, I did not hook up with any of the players, though I had the opportunity. I was really there to meet Pavano, which I did. Looking back, I wish I could have done something differently in approaching Carl, but I don't know what else I could have done. If a guy is too shy to talk to, then there is no way to get to know him. Know what I mean? I would love to be able to meet him again, but I don't want him to think I am a crazed fan, which I'm not. I would just like to get to know him better. My friend said that it's even worse for Pavano than a regular guy b/c he never knows the true intent of the person approaching him. I'm not after money, marriage or kids, but he does not know that and there is really not much I can say to make him believe me. Any suggestions you can give that might make my next meeting with him more comfortable?

Yes, I would have loved to, but really I would have just loved to talk with him. I know that other players were interested in me, but I just couldn't get anywhere with Carl and that is who I was interested in. I knew he was shy, but I did not realize HOW SHY...like he is afraid to talk shy. It must be difficult for him to meet people. I am very assertive (I'm a lawyer) and I can usually carry on a conversation with anyone (well, anyone who speaks, that is). I think he was very wary of a woman approaching him and didn't know what to make of it.

Miguel is MARRIED! NO WAY!!!! I had no idea and I saw no ring! Carl is so shy that he seemed incapacitated when I spoke with him. The first time I approached him, he was with his friends, but the next time I approached him, I approached him when he was alone, thinking that it would be better, but he still could barely say anything. I even apologized if I made him feel uncomfortable; he said that I didn't, but I don't believe him. It's a shame because he is so attractive! He will definitely not hook up with a random girl; I think especially after the nasty comment that Alyssa made about him, he is more hesitant. I don't want to make excuses for him, but he is probably embarassed and doesn't like private information about him getting out. Of course, it's more likely that private information would get out if he hooks up with a stranger.

Honestly, he was on his cell phone most of the time that I saw him! However, when I approached Carl for the first time, I asked him where they were going. He said that he did not know, but LoDuca must have overhead me talking to Carl and told me what club they were going to(again he was on the cell phone, but interrupted his conversation to tell me.) Yes, I met Carl. I spoke with him several times throughout the weekend. He was extremely shy. I think he gets intimidated and embarassed by people approaching him. He could barely get a few words out without getting flustered. I think he said his name was John, but I could not find his name or picture on the roster. He said he started in 1997 and has 2 world series rings. He had bright red hair. I did not think he was attractive at all. It was a good weekend and worth the money. By far, Mike Lowell was the nicest. He kept flattering me and was very sincere. Miguel hit on me, but he was way too young. He hooked up with some ugly trashy hoe. I saw them making out in the club.

Hi, as some of you know, I stayed at the Marlins hotel during the last series against Philadelphia. I spoke with and met many of the players during my stay and on Saturday night, met Mike Lowell, along with several other players, in the hotel bar. He asked me where I was from and when I told him originally NY, he said that he might be moving to NY next season. He said that he and his wife have already looked for places to live and have decided on the uppper west side. I asked him what team and he said that if he was going anywhere, it would be to the Yankees. That is what he told me. He was extremely nice and candid. I enjoyed meeting with all of them.

I was just watching the game and the announcers said something about Carl not pitching on Sunday (maybe). Do you think he'll pitch? If not, do you think he will still go to Philadelphia with the team or will he stay home?

Okay, so if I want to see a specific pitcher pitch, I should be able to figure out when he will be pitching through the rest of the regular season (provided nothing out of the ordinary happens...knock on wood), right?

She is going to be 32 in December. She is probably bitter b/c she most likely wanted a relationship and he didn't. She is producing Charmed and on the episode last night her character made a comment about her eggs (referring to her not having had a child yet at her age). That's probably what she wants in real life and he didn't want the same. I honestly don't think that she is that hot. She is okay, but I think she looks like a boy with her short hair and she has really ugly tatoos on her body. He can defintely do better. Hey, even if what she said is true, who cares. Size really doesn't matter.

FishWishy, I am not sure exactly how to approach him if I see him because I have read that he is shy. I would not want to go up to him with other players there either. But you are right, he definitely has been flaunting that he is a bachelor. If that doesn't make women approach you, then I don't know what will. As far as I am concerning, something can happen with anyone you go out with...it's not just professional athletes that have to worry, though they are more at risk. I don't know the story about Ramon Castro, but I know about Kobe Bryant. Maybe the guys should keep it in their pants, but I doubt that they do. Even if something did happen, I would never tell anyone about it. That's wrong and I don't think anyone would appreciate that. FishFan, I will be staying at the Hyatt Regency in Penns Landing. Wait, how do you meet someone unless you go up to them and talk to them? I am sure that you have been approached and asked out by someone who was just physically attracted to you. It happens to women all the time. Yes, I would take him to my room if given the opportunity, but I am not going to ask him to my room or to have sex with him!

Is anyone going to the last series in Philadelphia? I was able to get a room at the team's hotel for the entire series. I am so excited. I want to meet Carl Pavano so badly. Has anyone stayed at their hotel and had the chance to meet any of the players? Can anyone give me any suggestions on how I could do that instead of just sitting around waiting for them to pass through the lobby? I don't want to look like a crazed fan/lunatic/stalker, but believe me, if I have the chance to get him to my room, I would!
