Eric Milton - S - PHI Still hopeful of landing Randy Johnson, Yankees GM Brian Cashman said the team is no longer in talks with Eric Milton. Perhaps the best thing the Yankees have made so far this winter was a non-move. The Marlins seem to be Milton's top suitor right now. The Dodgers and Mariners might also have some interest. www.rotoworld.com To me this is bad news. I hope and im praying the Marlins don't sign Milton especially because for the 8 mil a year he wants. I thougt 8mil for Leiter was alot but atleast its only a one year deal and he is going to bring his veteran leadership that can help all our pitchers. If Beinfest is looking for another starter he should look at Millwood or Perez.

Marlin Fan im pretty sure Millwood will do better here in a pitcher ball park than the hitters ball park the Phillies play in. Another thing he was never happy playing in Philly maybe what he needs is to come back to the south. As for Boras yea I agree yuck. Solid rotation 1)Burnett 2)Beckett 3)Leiter 4)Willis 5)Millwood

I would like the Marlins to sign either Millwood or Perez. I prefer Millwood cause 1) He will come cheaper 2)Likely will be a one year deal 3)NO COMPENSATION REQUIRED 4)Millwood would likely be in top shape and looking to have a big season for his next contract the following season.

If the Yankee's pay half of Vazquez salary I'll do it. Though im a bit worried about Vazquez arm. It was reported by Peter Gammons that he was topping out in the high 80's. I like Odalis Perez alot. I see him as a lefthanded version of Livan Hernandez. I'll offer him a 3 year 19-20 ml deal. At that price I'll be okay with losing the draft pick. As for Hudson. I'll be willing to trade Willis, Wayne, and Messenger for Hudson if he is willing to sign a 4 year 46 mil dollar extension WITH US. What do you all think?
