  1. Good riddance what a great fan you are Exactly. I'm a fan who likes to win. Go become a Yankees fan then. A lack of loyalty is the worst habit a fan can have. Umm..let's see jr. I'm loyal to the TEAM. Not Dontrelle. I follow the Marlins win or lose....but how does wanting Dontrelle trading for other team needs make me unloyal? Some of you fans are funny.

  3. Dontrelle is as good as traded. Good riddance too.
  4. When I get a chance I will help you out... I have some nice photos from that series... I was there.. Been real busy so when I get around to it I will try to help Sound great! I look forward to seeing them. Thank you VERY much. Jay
  5. Can anyone help? I have search Getty Images all day...nothing.
  6. I'm sorry, I thought I did say please If anyone does find any....I would really appreciate it Please
  7. Can anyone please (Edit: I forgot to say please) find me as many pictures as possible of Miguel Cabrera batting on April 24, 25 & 26 2006 @ Cubs. The game used bat and game used cap I just bought is said to have come from that series..I would love a chance to photo match it!! Thanks, Jay
  8. Worst move the Marlind EVER made....and they've made many!...was to let Joe Giardi go. Best young MGR in the game.
  9. Thanks for all the imput guys! I asked this question because, as some know, I collect Miguel Cabrera game used memorabilia. I recently aquired his batting helmet (2005), his cap (2006) and his bat (??). I am still looking to pick up his black and his white pinstripe game used jerseys....and either buy them already auto'd or have them auto'd. I'm just putting together a nice little Cabrera collection to display in my home office. Thanks, Jay
  10. Ok, so the Alternate with the "F" on the left breast is no longer used? Thanks
  11. Ok, ok..I know...I come up with the strangest questions But trust me, all of the help I have received here has gone a long way to educate me on the Florida Marlins. Yes, I am a "converted" fan at age 32. So here's the next question: In terms of the Marlins uniform, they have a home jersey, home alternate jersey, road jersey and road alternate jersey. Do they have one cap and batting helmet for road and away? Just the black ones right? There are no alternate helmet/cap colors? And, do they wear different cleats when home or away? (I've seen Cabrera wear white cleats trimmed in black and black cleats). Thanks.
  12. I haven't gone to the movies since Stargate with Kurt Russell was out. These days I watch a good portion of my movies online...for free. And yes, they are the same bootleg versions that the guy in this story got arrested for. I don't tape 'em, but i sure as hell will watch 'em Past that, I go to blockbuster I don't go to the movies for two reasons - 1. I can't stand people. Arrogant, ignorant pukes and thug wannabe's. Why bother when I can stay home and enjoy the movie with my family. And 2. The prices are RIDICULOUS. The cost of a night at the movies for a family of 4 - $40 for tickects, $8.00 for 2 large popcorns, $12 for 4 soft drinks and $6.00 for 2 boxes of candy (1 foe each child). No way I would even consider spending $50-$60 dollars for a night at the movies. Especially when we can rent any movie we want, not have to deal with people and enjoy time with my family in the comfort of our on living room.
  13. Thank you for the last few posts, good stuff. I have heard the "weight" suggestion twice now in my search. That very well may be the answer...not sure? It both cases I have seen recently, "32" was clearly written on the very top end of the bat barrel (in the cupped end). It appears to be written in whiteout. It just very well may be that this is a weight indicator and nothing more. I would have to contact Zinger and see which size bats he has prdered from them. Thanks and keep the great responses coming.
  14. # 32 could be a player miggy admired when he was a kid Could have been, but unlikely. I just used to numbers on bat handles and bat barrels being there to identify who's bat it is in the clubhouse and the bat rack.
  15. Couple ideas: -It could be a model number -It could be a number with history for Miggy. I doubt Miller and Smith even have specific bats. Thanks for the reply. I tried to think of the same scenerios. Definately not a model number, as it's in white out "in" the cupped ended of the barrel and anothe rbat I saw it in white out on the bat knob. I figured that maybe one of the pitchers, for whatever reason had the chance to see an AB and perhaps was given the bat by Miggy to use and they "adopted" it and numbered it. I know Miggy has a habit of marking his bat with either black or silver marker...he wrotes his #24 in the cupped barrel.
