Ok, ok..I know...I come up with the strangest questions

 

 

But trust me, all of the help I have received here has gone a long way to educate me on the Florida Marlins.

 

Yes, I am a "converted" fan at age 32.

 

 

 

So here's the next question:

 

 

In terms of the Marlins uniform, they have a home jersey, home alternate jersey, road jersey and road alternate jersey.

 

Do they have one cap and batting helmet for road and away? Just the black ones right? There are no alternate helmet/cap colors?

 

 

And, do they wear different cleats when home or away? (I've seen Cabrera wear white cleats trimmed in black and black cleats).

they used to have a home alternate jersey with the logo on the breast but that is gone.....and yes we only have one hat which is the black one....however, the team lately has worn the black and only alternate jersey at home the majority of the time instead of the usual home pinstripes

Home Jersey - White Pinstripe

Road Jersey - Gray

Alternate Jersey - Black

 

Only one hat and batting helmet

 

As for cleats, I don't know, haven't paid too much attention to that

Those were just BP/spring jerseys, they never wore them in a game...thankfully.

im a big fan of the black jersey. but ironically, i own a willis white with black pinstripes jersey and a white with black pinstripes no name jersey signed by hermida. and a sleveless teal and white no name jersey from the early years.

I remember seeing Cabrera wearing those white cleats. I think he hit a homerun that day. Rich and Tommy mentioned them, I believe. And that was the only day I noticed him wearing them.

I asked this question because, as some know, I collect Miguel Cabrera game used memorabilia.

 

I recently aquired his batting helmet (2005), his cap (2006) and his bat (??). I am still looking to pick up his black and his white pinstripe game used jerseys....and either buy them already auto'd or have them auto'd.

 

 

 

I'm just putting together a nice little Cabrera collection to display in my home office.
