This might well be the worst team the Marlins have ever assembled and that’s saying a lot.

Hollandsworth was an atrocity.

This Mervis kid had some serious power numbers in the minors.

How did we actually end up with an owner worse than Loria? Or I should say “majority owner” since he’s too broke to actually own the team outright.

Gotta love those 19 year old 5’9 160 pound power bats.

Said it before - a defining moment for this franchise was Loria not selling to the Mas brothers.

From what I’m seeing here, it seems like the Marlins did quite well in terms of restocking with top prospects that are just about MLB ready.

A prospect is a prospect but I like that trade.

Yes obviously but it’s those two and nothing else.

I just realized something pretty sad - the only time the Marlins have won more than 90 games was 1997 and 2003. Their lack of success is astounding.

The real shame here is that the Marlins could EASILY be 6-7 games better than their record.

I get the feeling Bendix is going to be a disaster for this franchise and end up leaving it much worse than when he found it.

So they’ve blown a 4, 5 and 6 run first inning lead through 29 games. No one could’ve seen this coming.

This is sickening

They had a runner at third with 1 out 4 times. Just finding all kinds of ways to lose.

I do wonder if this team is just a four or five game winning streak away from getting back on track. I mean, they do have seven blown saves in their first 23 games.

I’ll take it. Cabrera was decent and had some bad luck in the fourth inning.

lol how many blown saves is that so far? Also, Bender fucking sucks. Only has to pitches that he doesn’t control well and ends up throwing meatballs in order to throw strikes.

I am pleased - thought it was over because it seemed to go final so quickly. Would be great to get both.
