Everyone pretend we're still losing...don't jinx this by being happy. Still...let's stop the base running stupidity...

He got out of it....but if his fastball is going to sit at 87 I think we can safely say that there is something wrong and our season is over. Conley - hurt/velocity Fernandez - suddenly human TK - outperforming himself but how far is that going to get us Phelps - see TK Cashner - shaved off his beard

he should have been able to get to the ninth with only 70 pitches http://m.mlb.com/news/article/79727210/fewest-pitches-thrown-in-a-complete-game/

After his performance today we should rename this thread to the Don Kelly man crush thread?

Hechavarria actually seems to be hitting pretty well at the moment. I know he will never be an offensive force, but because I live near Philly I got to see most of the series, including the first game in person. Through the whole series he was making good contact. Hope this trend continues. Then we just have to get past the pitcher's spot and Kelly/Mathis to sustain a rally.

well in 'my world' it' still 0 - 0 and Infante just got a single....I prefer alternate reality... unfortunately the alternate reality is catching up to reality...

From the little I can see (through Gameday & hilights), it looks like buente is getting killed when he throws his 'fastball' right down the middle.
