John Travolta playing the bad guy in the punisher, i mean c'mon now :thumbdown John Travolta equals doodoo on a stick. What is that guys problem that he can't read a script or that he actually likes making bad movies? Travolta must have a thing for digging his career out of the toilet. I remember when he did Pulp Fiction after all those horrid, "Look Who's Talking" movies and I said, "Maybe Travolta isn't so bad..." WRONG!
March 23, 200422 yr But why are they insulting our intelligence and pretending that the first "Punisher" never happened? It came out in the early 90's and it starred Luis Gosset JR. and Dolph Lundgren, LMAO BWHAHAHA! :banghead

November 2, 200421 yr Just rented Dawn of the Dead DVD.... the movie was good except for a few things that I noticed and I'm sure you all did as well.... First off, they never said why all of a sudden there were zombies roaming the land... and at first you had no idea where this was taking place, well they might have said in the beginning across the screen maybe, but I didn't know that this was worldwide until I viewed the bonus footage. They chose the mall to hang out which was a pretty bad idea but turned out to be their safe place. I laughed when by pure luck there were 2 abandoned trucks in the basement of the mall, where there were zombies as well but it was now safe to work on the truck? They all became welders for the night, working vigorously on the truck, making it indestructable. The camera angle during attack scenes, and the reloading of ammo reminded me very much of the Blair Witch Project and how it was done with a handheld... very shaky. Last, the ending, only leaves you to assume that they all died. I liked the movie, but it could have been a little better.

Do you want everything spoiled for you? Having every detail spelled out ruins movies, IMO. I liked not knowing how the zombies originated. Also, at the beginning of the movie they show the zombies attacking in Istanbul and some East Asian country so I guess you just missed that. At any rate, it happened in Milwaukee because they make a reference to Miller Park. They chose the mall to hang out which was a pretty bad idea but turned out to be their safe place. Why is a mall a bad place? There's plenty of security features, food, supplies, etc. Only place that would make more sense to stay at that isn't a military base would be a Wal-Mart because they have food, clothes, guns, and supplies. I laughed when by pure luck there were 2 abandoned trucks in the basement of the mall, where there were zombies as well but it was now safe to work on the truck? They all became welders for the night, working vigorously on the truck, making it indestructable. They weren't trucks. They were mini-busses. I know at every mall in America they have vehicles for people to drive around in for whatever reason. Also, they were underground and many zombies didn't find the garage so they had plenty of time to get their crap together. Also, those busses were pretty well fortified so it was gonna take a lot to destroy them. Granted, the explosion was a bit far fetched, but whatever. Anyway, I bought the DVD and this movie kicks ass.
