March 23, 200422 yr And sorry, I'm not in favor of them bringing back ECW. Remember when they tried to bring back WCW? And the NWO? And ECW THE FIRST TIME?!?!? They all failed. IT'S GONE. LET IT DIE. Besides, a lot of guys identified with ECW won't be wrestling on whatever show they get, like Sandman, Raven, New Jack, etc. It's gonna be WWE B-show stars like Dreamer and Spike and the like.
March 23, 200422 yr RAW Thoughts: I thought Bischoff/Heyman's verbal sparring was awesome all night....I assume Bischoff was the face, but I think the crowd was kind of hesitant toward cheering him....Dupree being picked makes sense. He's the next "Blue-Chipper" (supposedly), and there are still two guys left to run La Resistance....The loss to Jericho I don't get tho....Benjamin, another pick that makes sense. Now both guys can try their hand at singles competition. As much as I liked them as a team, they have a lot of promise as singles wrestlers.... After the second match, I sensed wrestling wasn't going to be a big part of this show....Jindrak to Smackdown! gets an "eh" from me. They already have O'Haire, who IMO is better than Jindrak, and are doing nothing with him. But I think WWE is higher on Jindrak than O'Haire....I guess the Nidia drafting makes sense, what with the women's title on RAW....Hunter to Smackdown was a surprise, but the smark in me says "not really a surprise"....Christian v.s Spike was another throw-away match....You should've heard the reaction of the people I was watching RAW with when they announced Eddy/Trips for tonight. Lots of swearing, I'll say that....Rhyno was an okay pick, he wasn't doing much on Smackdown.... Good tag title match....Again, another sensible pick with RVD to Smackdown....Nothing much to the Benoit/Rhyno match....Uh-oh, Michaels wrestling for the title in Canada? Something smells here....The last few picks were just throwaways, except of course for Teddy Long (who is he gonna manage now?) and Heyman. I'm really not looking forward to ECW returning, but it looks more and more like it's gonna happen....Didn't see much of the title match, as the draft provided for some interesting arguments amongst the couch potatoes tonight. Always like to see the locker rooms empty though, for a fun visual. Tying some of your post together: O'Haire + Return of ECW = O'Haire in ECW? As far as I can guess the "Return of ECW" is just a 3rd brand with an ECW name for some of the guys they never use to have something to do and gain some exposure. The fact that Heyman will actually be involved now raises my interest level a lot. Too bad they don't still have Kanyon for that show.

If that IS the case, it sounds alot like Velocity or Heat, just with the ECW name (and Heyman). And I was a HUGE Kanyon mark. Loved the guy.

It would have been a good angle to him to claim that Farooq was fired because of discrimination and then manage him, but since WWE released him it will be intresting to see who he ends up with.
March 24, 200422 yr They did Smackdown well... RVD can have some more epic matches with Eddie Guerrero plus they finally have the room to kick off some crap talent from PPV's(A train ect) Spike... I'm a fan of Spike, The WWE just doesn't know how to use him. The ECW Giant Killer storyline was awesome, of course they'll use him as A CW but if they use The Giant Killer Storyline, they wouldn't have to use Big Show, Morgan, A Train on the better talents because they have no where to put those wrecks. Frenchy and Jindrack add to some awesome mid card talent and matches. John Cena does not need The US title, would be best to have him drop it soon and have the midcarders go at it, like The TV title on WCW. Frenchy, Jindrack, Orlando, London, some of the big putzes, some of The CW, and a few others would make for some very intresting matches and give some life to that title. Long, is a verbal genius and too think he might still be a ref, I'm thinking he might come up as GM like Ramp said, but I'm thinking Steph and Shane as co owners, especcially with Triple H coming over. Triple H, would be better if it was DX Triple H, I mean by that not the charachter but rather the non ripped up injury prone freak. Raw... Rhyno, will prosper on RAW, their game fits into Rhyno and hopefully he can get a pre neck injury push, plus with Regal and a few other solid mid carders, that could make for some great matches. Tajiri, I have no idea why he is better off on Raw than Smackdown Nidia, She is a piss poor wrestler and far from being Raw eye candy, who knows maybe Molly, Jazz, and her can pull off some PMS like female stable of the more "manly" females on Raw. Edge, Is a solid wrestler but is so damn annoying and is just a horrible face that the fans buy into. Brood Edge was 100x better and of course the WWE is going for Edge/Orton feud, which will be good along with a possible Jericho feud but after that I see him kind of stuck like Booker T is now, Smackdown would have been better Benjamin, kicks ass and will do well as a singles competitor if he can get a push but it seems mic skills decides your push anymore(unless your name is Benoit) and he may not do as well. This is why The WWE needs to have THe European belt, so midcarders can actually get a damn match in without having to run a foolish storyline.

March 24, 200422 yr Author Kurt Angle the GM? He's in the same situation as Austin where he is going to have a hard time wrestling anymore because of his neck, but by doing this they keep him on TV. HHH back on Raw means that Evolution lives The Dudleys to Smackdown sort of makes sense but now there are no tag teams on Raw except Flair-Batista and La resistance, so I dont know where there going to do with the Raw Tag Titles.
