April 9, 200422 yr I was thinking...wouldn't the Marlins get higher attendance during the week if they opened the upper deck? I mean, having the cheaper seats open will encourage all fans to show up. Plus, it won't look stupid.

April 9, 200422 yr I asked this question a while ago and the response was that it's purely economics. They have to pay to open up sections above the basic lease for the lower bowl. When you open up the upper deck you have to man it with attendents, ushers, vendors, service personnel, paramedics, etc etc etc. It would be a money losing proposition for them weekdays, at least right now.
April 9, 200422 yr Tampa, Milwaukee, Oakland, and the Marlins do not like to open the upper deck unless there are enough people to make it 1/3 full.
