Hotcorner
This is not a thread to rip JP. His arm is obviously below average, but we already knew that. My question's more of a technical one, for those of you who've played a lot of baseball (I never played after high school), do you ever see a players arm improve much? Apart from just strength training, is there anything players do to improve their throwing arms? Seems like having relatively short arms doesn't help JP... From what I've encountered, usually you can tell what kind of an arm someone has already when they're pretty young, and you don't seem to see it improve a whole lot. Just watching Pierre tonight I wondered if anyone has any thoughts on the matter. If you have a weak arm, are you stuck with it? (commence steroid jokes)
miami15
I dunno about your question, but has anyone noticed his arm has improved? It looks a little better than from last year.
RockyMountainMarlin
Its not so much the arm as the back and shoulders. I'm happy with the JP we have. All he needs is to get a quick relay throw.
Mephisto
I think so. Remember a few years back when Joe Stron made his frist start in the majors and Tommy said he had gained arm strength while working on something? Forgot what that something was.
