I have to watch the games on MLB TV, and they interviewed Pierre before the game (this was the Colorado feed). He really is a humble guy but a few highlights from the interview were:

 

He likes being a "celebrity" but he liked being able to eat without people recognizing him, too :p .

 

He says that the whole Marlins team has a chip on their shoulder to prove that last year wasn't a fluke.

 

He also gave props to the years that Lowell, Luis and Pudge had for the team last year, but he said that there isn't any reason to think that those years can't be replicated.

Yep, I saw it. It was a pretty good interview and JP impressed me with his ability to speak. I figured he'd be more like Willis and speak incoherently.
