djm305 Posted April 30, 2004 Share Posted April 30, 2004 I am not sure who it was that was just talking but he brought up a good point about reducing payroll once we have a stadium deal in place, until we actually open the stadium. He was saying that alot of teams get stadium deals then field teams with very low payroll's until the stadium is built. He brought up a point, and I agree with him, that there should be some sort of contract with the owner and the people that promises to keep the payroll at least at a certain level. I mean if the stadium is going to be built in part on taxpayer dollars then we should have some assurances on at least attempting to field a competetive team.
