Das Texan
Decent game in game 1 over the Lakers. Tony Parker is 'ok' Ok enough to be a top 5 point guard in this league easily.....he keeps improving with each game. Since March 1.....how many points have been better than Tony? I know Steve Nash ISNT one of those.
miami15
The Lakers have got to bring it, or we are going to see a repeat of last year.

miami15
People think Phil Jackson is a great coach, are wrong, IMO. If I had 4 HOF'ers on my team and they all wanted to win, they'd be unstoppable. If you can't get 4 guys who all want to win, to play hard, you're overrated. OK, maybe I can't get the Lakers to win, but what I mean is if Phil Jackson can't maybe is a tad overrated. And out of his 9 championships, each of those teams had MJ and Pippen, or Shaq and Kobe. Whoopdeedoo. He's a lucky man.

Sals
It was ONE game. I am sick and tired of seeing you post your junk based on one good game. When the Spurs lose one game you say it is one game, when they win its the greatest thing since sliced bread. You make so many outrageous predictions and claims and most do not come true yet you will praise yourself when the few do. Great call on the Timberwolves not holding onto the one seed. Great call on Duncan rasing his game and Garnett folding and not being able to hold onto the MVP. God, get over yourself.

God, get over yourself. please. i called the thing with the wolves based on their past history. then i gave them credit. did you miss that one? my comments are based on not one game, but on 2 months.....only the most important 2 months so far. so what happens when the series ends? are my thoughts still outrageous. and if the spurs lost today i would of been worried. losing a game in november, december, january and even to an extent february means nothing....hence why its just one loss. the playoffs is a different animal. if i were you i would be worrying about my team trying to blow my series against an equally mediocore hornet team. The Lakers have been underachieving all year, until KB8's heroics in the last month of the season. They struggled against Houston, and with that starting 5 should be breezing through. Phlub
I can't believe I'm agreeing with Sals, but only about 70% of what he just said, Das proved himself (Das) right on the other 30%. Das I have one question, when did you EVER give the WOLVES of all teams credit for stomping out the division and then snatching the #1 seed? When? You think as highly of the Wolves, as I do the Bears or Vikings. But I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the Spurs didn't have the best record over the last 2 months, and I'm pretty sure it was a team further north. But anyways, the Wolves will lose to the Kings in 6, KG deserved MVP and did last year as well, and I think Flip Saunders should be fired because he doesn't put an edge on the Wolves and they play soft. Thats my stance on the Wolves. So I'm sick of people calling me a Wolves Homer.

Phlub
Thank you for Clarifying that Das. And When I said further North, that could be most anyone, since the Spurs are geographically the Southernmost team in the NBA. So I'm still right!
