Padres' Greene's jersey

Featured Replies

I think he wears a baggy jersey for the sheer purpose of the pitch hitting it. I don't think it's fair, do you?

No, it's not fair. He should wear it the way it should be worn. The right size. And he leans over the plate too so it's like an extra 4-6 inches. Any pitch inside will EASILY "hit" him.

That was a weak call by the ump. I would like to see Beckett brush Green off the plate tomorrow.

I wouldn't be suprised if he did. Beckett doesn't take anyone crap. It's good to have pissed off guys I guess. :confused

I don't think his jersey is any bigger than anyone else's. Sorry if he doesn't want his jersey to be skin tight, and I am sure the last thing on his mind is his idea to risk taking one in the ribs if it should miss his jersey.

Well he is kinda skinny at that. :D

Btw, the commentator said something about Greene liking to wear his jersey's bigger for that purpose.

SAID THE PADRES FAN

Well he is kinda skinny at that. :D

Yeah, that too.

Now if you were talking about GIles, then I would agree. That guy wears clothes twice his size and his helmet is at least 3 sizes too big. :lol
