Random catcher thought: Hey Passion, does Jason Varitek still do the signals with his chest protector? I saw him doing it alot last year instead of making normal signs. Did anyone ever say why he did this?

Did anyone ever say why he did this? Yes, he still does. Im not certain, but I think he is paranoid about the players on 2nd stealing signs....
