Mordi

3 cheers for Mordi. He came up big with the bat as well as being pretty solid behind the plate coming in touch situation (especially considering he's only done it once before). He is the kind of player that is so valuable to a team like the Marlins. Playing small ball and everyone fighting to the finish.

Way to go Mordi!!!

Sincerest of props to Mordy. A lot of guys would've choked. I think his bat kept us in the game, unlike Castro- I don't think we would've had much of a chance with him. Most of the time I forgot it was even him behind the plate.

Yep. I also forgot it was him behind the plate.

Mordi called a very nice game tonight. His timely hitting was a nice relief as well.

Only drawback is his ability to hold baserunners. After his first errant throw to centerfield, they were running at will.....and ultimately gave them their winning run.

For this reason alone we will see Treanor start ahead of Mordi.
