Question about MLB.TV

Featured Replies

I have no idea where to post this so I just decided to put it here.

When you sign up for MLB TV you get to watch any game, right?

How is the quality?

Can you watch the game when it's done?

Help me! I plan on getting it for July.

The quality isn't exactly the best. I had it for two months when I had a good connection. I think its well worth especially if you will usually be able to watch the games. There are black out restrictions for ESPN sometimes FOX doesnt allow any games before 7 I think. I'm sure Cape will let you know that. Not sure about the watching games afterwards though. I'm leaning towards no unless you get something else. But anyways I liked it well worth it :thumbup

I've been watching a lot of baseball lately especially since basketball season is just about done. I go over to MLB.com every morning and see the little highlight show.

When you say the quality is not the best, what do you mean? I'm not expecting some HDTV s*** or something but I expect the to recognize the players. (I have a Cable connection by the way)

Thanks.

Any streaming video I have had with MLB.com has been great and I have Road Runner. The live broadcast of the Draft was very good quality as well.

I have DSL, I got MLB.TV for the first time wednesday and I was REALLY impressed. It really looked like real TV, only a touch less sharp on the full-screen version. Maybe it's my computer, but I have never seen any streaming video look as good as that. They're usually all choppy but this wasn't at all. Don't use the free MLB streams to judge- I have a computer nerd family and even my Dad was really impressed by it.

As far as I know, you can watch any game (minding local blackout restrictions, which you can get around if you use your noggin) and they do archive games. I don't know if you have to pay extra to watch them.

I got comcast high speed internet and that gave me a free month of it and I love it. The quality is great and i have been flipping around games watching them all. I highly recommend it for our playoff stretch run.

I've got MLB.tv for the Tigers games. It works fine. Not the best quality, but it's not horrible. I like the fact that you can surf through almost every game in the league.
