Chisox n Rangers vs Tigers n Royals

Featured Replies

So over the next 6 games we face the first place Chisox and the second place Rangers both teams above .500. Tough games.

The Phillies will be facing the Tigers and Royals.... While the Tigers may win 1 game the Phillies clearly have an advantage over us in schedule over the next 6 games. Lets see what we're made of in these next 6 games!

Yes, we will need to have a strong homestand to keep our division lead. White Sox, Rangers, Braves.....we need go 6-3 to keep our division lead, and this could be difficult to achieve if the offense continues to struggle as it has the past month.

Lowell is going to have to break out of his slump, Conine is going to have to start driving in some runs, and JP has to build from a great start on Sunday.

Hopefully Burnett can show some improvement, and Beckett can turn things around.

Might need to even be a little better than 6-3, but these next few series are going to be tough ones need to come up big

Well Philly has a BIG Schedule Advantage coming up. They got 6 games against Montreal, 3 vs KC, 3 vs Detroit, and 3 vs Boston. So the Red Sox might give them trouble and maybe even the Tigers. But Montreal and KC? The Marlins on the other hand got the Chisox for 3, Rangers for 3, Atlanta for 6, TB for 6 (Hopefully we can sweep both series from TB, but they are not as Bad as they seem).

In any way we need to pitching more than anything to step up in a big way and not be the way it has been. I don't care if the hitting isn't there this team lives and dies by the pitching

The Tigers are the type of team that could really smack up the Phillies.

The Royals could take a game in that series.

The White Sox do worry me, but the Rangers aren't quite as worrying to me.
