The problem with reading is that the more of it you do, the more disillusioned you become with other, less cerebral forms of entertainment within society.

Anyway....

I try to read at least two a week. My big genre is non-fiction, WWII, The Law and the Presidency in particular.

Right now I'm about 500 pages into Chernow's bio on Hamilton. I'm also muddling through Clinton's book too, although I'm only about 150 pages into it.

As for periodicals: Subscibe to the NY'er, Time, Newsweek, Men's Health and of course...Maxim.

Now that I sit to write all this out, it looks like I read alot, but it doesn't seem like it to me. I still have time to be a waste of skin and sit on the couch watching deportes on the idiot box.

Oh well.... All is well I guess.

You read the Ny'er!? I just recieved my first issue (one with the lady + dog on the cover) and greatly enjoy the cartoons, stories, and articles. I'm mildly surprised a conservative would have it on the table though. Whats your favorite part of that magazine?

I don't like reading unless it's Catcher In The Rye.

Best book ever

Maybe not the best book, but truly a great book. Try picking up something by Jack Kerouac or Neal Cassady for some fun.

I'm more of a newspaper guy, at school every morning I would pick up the NY Times and read that. Books are alright, I'm a slow reader so that doesn't help, but when I do read I like history stuff and biographies

I love the free NY Times at UF. I read it almost every morning. Finally all that damn A+S fees buying something useful. :D

Other than books every now and then, I like to read the school newspaper at UF, The Alligator. It's interesting most of the time.

Another great read most of the time. Did you see today's cover? The tree across NW15th street? My house is the one adjacent to the one in picture. Just got power back tonight. I enjoy Andy Marlette's cartoons and the editorials for the most part.
