owns us?

Clark has been hitting the ball very well especially in the limelight in these big "rivalry games". I didn't think he had this much left in him.

when giambi is hurt, clark plays well...then when giambi is back, topny clark says hello again.

i'll still take giambi

Clark is too streaky. When he's good, he's real good. When not though, watch out.

Yea, the Mets fans weren't too happy with him today (like "Why couldn't he do that for us last year?") All in all, a very good game (I enjoyed being in attendance!)

were you like, "WTF, where's Rivera?"

Yea, I was extremely shocked that Rivera didn't come in. It didn't make any sense to me at all.

I was also kinda surprised that Looper wasn't brought in for the Mets. Bottalico, Stanton, and Franco always make things a little interesting.

They put in Giambi to pinch hit and he got a double!!! Now I don't understand his illness, an intestinal parasite, if that has something to do with stomach pains and whatnot, then I think he should be playing right now. They always show him on the bench, what are they benching him for?... so if he has to run to the toilet, he has the time and doesn't have to take himself out of the game?

i'm assuming he's still tired.

Pinch hit again and struck out on the high cheese... I am dreading the day they decide to trade him, probably go after some other big name first baseman like Helton. I know Giambi was amazing back in Oakland, there's something just not clicking as a Yankee. He needs to find it, whether it's during this season, or this upcoming offseason and spring training, because if he isn't putting up Oakland numbers, I think the Boss will ship him off
