Posted July 8, 200420 yr :thumbup Eventhough the Marlins lost today it seemed like they were really trying to come back! They didn't just curl up and die! and it seems like we are hitting better than before. Maybe this is a start of something good! also... Willingham got 2 hits today! :thumbup :thumbup I know some of you wont agree with me :thumbup Always look at the (+'s) okay you guys are going to hate me :thumbdown
July 8, 200420 yr Koch had a very nice comeback after giving up the lead-off double to Simon. He spotted several pitches very well to finish off the hitters.
July 8, 200420 yr :thumbup If the bench can produce even 10% of the time McKeon uses them we'll go on a tear.

Actually, all the girls here are. I'm the only meanie. :lol It was good to see Willy and Koch perform. Willingham really does seem exciting..his OBP is off to a good start, eh?

July 8, 200420 yr BOOOOOOOOOOO Cut her freaking head off! 446229[/snapback] A bit strong, dont you think? Especially given the current situation in the world... I think this team is fine. Sure, we have played like a$$ the last month, but that is to be expected when your starters dont pitch consistently, your offense is just offensive and your bullpen is more bear than bull (or is it the other way around?). Time. Patience. Marathon, not a sprint.

I really felt like they wanted it. I haven't gotten that feeling from this team in a long while. I really thought they were going to come back and win it. In fact, I was sure they were going to. Perhaps that's why I got so frustrated when the coaching staff kept making questionable decisions (taking the bat out of our players' hands and sending runners to their certain death at home plate). Maybe it's a sign of things to come. Maybe they're coming alive.
