I heard he was going to be on the ballot for this years Baseball HOF

 

he may spit useless rumors alot but he certainly the best insider around and does a pretty good job

Isn't it one of the awards fans now vote for. I knew they were allowed to vote on broadcaster's but I'm sure about journalists.

Glad for him.

 

He may read into things a little too much, but he seems like a good guy. He also likes some of the music I like.

Gammons is the man. He's not always right (actually not that much at all) but he really works hard at his job, and is extremely educated on it.

Is Bill James in the hall?

 

I like Gammons but James is way more deserving.

Gammons is a very nice guy, he gets a lot of crap when he's wrong, but for the most part, he's on the ball.

 

The thing people forget is that all his reports are based on "speculation" half of the stuff he says can only work out for one team, so the other teams that were "in on it" most likely were, they just didn't get the player; causing a lot of fans to damn Gammons.

 

Either way, I'm a big fan and I'd like to see him honored.

Another vote of confidence in Gammons. He brings some actual thinking to a network that usually just spits back out each team's propganda. Plus when he and Kruk go at it, it's usually fun. Good for him.

He also plays a great guitar which should make him hall worthy alone
