August 7, 200421 yr not to mention Yale is a private school. They can have admission standards anyway they want. Hell, if they don't want black people, they don't have to. Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC...this ultra-conservative kinda scary college cannot get national accreditation b/c they racially profile.

The government won't allow grants, accredidation (Im spelling the word wrong, and I dont care because I'm tired and going to bed after this post), etc. because of the racial profiling (although I know a black girl who went to the Bob Jones HS....she has a kid, works her way through college, and no husband/boyfriend). At least, that is what I've been told. I really haven't done my research of BJU (yes, BJU)...I just drive through there and laugh at people wearing these dresses and such....must suck. They have to have chaperones when they go on dates. Little extreme.
August 7, 200421 yr Author Richard Rodriguez took advantage of affirmative action in college, but as time went by, he didn't like the preferential treatment he was getting, and traveled around the country speaking out against affirmative action. He wrote the book "The Hunger of Memory" on this issue. The point is, that not all people who take advantage of these type privileges actually agree with them.
