Curious Holly wants to know something...

Featured Replies

It's so funny how people love the Marlins and say how great they are after a win, but if they loose you guys always say the marlins stink and how they didn't do this right etc etc...

Is there something i'm missing? Why do you guys always complain after a loss?.. and never a win? (Someone always makes a mistake when we win) :confused

I know that we had the basesloaded, What Jack says ... you have to hit rock bottom before you start to get going. Maybe something like this will get them going :thumbup

Seanez will have a bad day once in a while!

Maybe they did try really hard to win... we can't win every game..

Maybe we will have better luck against Perez... He had a 4-5 something ERA against Fla.

Sorry I just had to vent alittle

Have a great day Everyone :)

Holly, I think you're right. All fans tend to over-analyze games and play "what if". Even the best hitters (not named Bonds) fail to reach base around 60% of the time.

It's part of the fun of being a fan. To my mind, baseball is so much superior to any other sport. Every day is a new start, with optimism (and pessimism) allowed and encouraged.

the Marlins are on a critical strecht. There is very little room for error.

It is a game of inches, and one inch could cost the Fish a playoff spot.

Good young players (Choi and Morphy) were given in hopes to play in October, there is reason for some to be concerned.

For me, I don't have any expectation so whatever happens is OK. However, in the offseason I'll be pissed if we don't make the playoff and have to unload Pavano, Benitez, "put name here" to stay within payroll range.

Baseball is a daily event and is weird because reactions are so instantaneous...thinking back if we don't make the playoffs, this may be one of the top games to look back on like the other Dodgers game in Florida which featured Mordi's error.....I try not to overreact but since we did win the title last year...expectations are higher and harder.

i think the only reason people reacted so strongly last night was because of the 7th. If you all remember a few months ago, the Red Sox did this and broke into a slump.

The fact is this is a critical stretch and we can't afford to not make contact, after all that is why these players are in the majors, to be pro ballplayers. You didnt see that from Gonzalez or Easley last night when it was most critical.

As for Seanez, it's just one bad outing as a Marlin. I just hope he doesnt revert to the way he pitched before he joined us.... cause he's done real, real well with us thus far.

i think holly is right...fans should be there win or lose, i know im always there and i love my team win or lose :D :marlins

I would disagree with that, You should take losses harder in Football than any other sport because you only have 16 games, but in baseball you have 162. I definatley take Bucs losses harder than I took Jays losses even when the Jays were good.
