While realizing that he probably will be dealt, I think it's a mistake on Benitez's part to choose money over us. I think there's a chemistry with the Marlins and him that he might not find elsewhere.

We MUST keep Lo Duca. Pleaseohpleaseohpleeeeeease

Armando may not play as well somewhere else, but he'll be due for a few mil raise, and my bet is he will take it.

C: Willingham / Redmond

1B: Conine

2B: Castillo

3B: Lowell

SS: Gonzalez

OF: Cabrera, Pierre, Encarnacion / Aguila

SP: Pavano, Burnett, Beckett, Willis, Wayne

RP: Mota, Spooneybarger, Bump, Hutchinson

- LoDuca is due to be the best available catcher this offseason. If we don't reach the NLCS I don't see why he'd want to come back.

- I'm growing less and less optimistic we can find a team that would want Encarnacion and the $2.5-4.5M remaining on his 2005 contract.

- I hope Benitez will come back, but with big raises due to Beckett and Burnett in arbitration and Pavano I think the job will fall to Mota.
