August 29, 200421 yr Misty May returned from Athens Friday (with the Gold) and threw out our AAA 'Topes ceremonial first pitch to her fiance, catcher Matt Treanor. Treanor responded with his first HR since rejoining the 'Topes Aug. 1st. I think I could respond to that kind of motivation, too. (I resisted the temptation of noting the 'Topes lost that night but Treanor Scored.)

August 29, 200421 yr Author I should have said it's not "breaking news." They were an "item" when Matt was up here with us. Don't know if they were actually engaged at that time. For some reason, I knew they were. Might have heard it in the pre-coverage of the Olympics. Sorry, I can't help more than that.
