Posted September 1, 200420 yr Cannavaro officially was traded from Inter to Juventus just few hours before the 31 August deadline! A 4 years contract for him. Inter got the uruguagian goalkeeper Fabian Carini. Then Inter sent Sabri Lamouchi to Genoa, Ianis Zicu to Parma, Gonzalo Sorondo and Nicola Ventola in Uk to the Crystal Palace. Juventus aquired Ibrahimovic from Ajax for 19 millions euros: 4 years contract. Ancelotti re-signed with Milan till 2007. Rooney from Everton to Manchester United for 37 millions euros. Gautieri from Lecce to Atalanta. Maccarone from Middlesbrough to Parma. Miccoli from Juventus to Fiorentina. Inter resigned Gamarra (sigh!). Wiltord back in France at Lyone from Arsenal: 2 years contract. Porto signed the brazilian Luis Fabiano from San Paolo. Voeller is the new Roma coach after Prandelli left for personal reasons.

September 1, 200420 yr Author also egyptian Hossam Mido to Roma (formerly of Marseille in the french lige) Cannavaro + Zlatan = success JUVE now has a complete squad watch out 535804 Inter got rid of Cannavaro just because his high contract! And get back Gamarra: he looked great at the Olympics just because of the level not so high!! He's simply ridiculous when facing great strikers! Bad move from Inter!
September 1, 200420 yr damn Juve getting Cannavaro. i would have prefered if he stayed at Inter. oh well, im sure theres a reason why we didnt get him. woo-woo Woodgate fo life!!!
September 2, 200420 yr Nice ManU got Rooney. 536833 from what that Tommy Smyth said on ESPNews, they overpaid big time
September 2, 200420 yr 37 million Euro for an 18 year old who has showed promise in two years is a lot of cash. not to take anything away from Rooney, who is an amazing talent, but thats way too much money for such a young buck. compare his transfer to the most expensive of all time: Zinedine Zidane (Juventus--->Real Madrid)- 70 million Euro Luis Figo (Barcelona--->Real Madrid)- 55 million Euro Ronaldo (Inter--->Real Madrid)- 41 million Euro David Beckham (Manchester United--->Real Madrid)- 25 million Euro Juan Veron (Lazio--->Manchester United)- 40 million Euro Gianluigi Buffon (Parma--->Juventus)- 47 million Euro Christian Vieri (Lazio--->Inter)- 47 million Euro Hernan Crespo (Parma--->Lazio)- 50 million Euro these are all world class, and were at the time of their transfer, players. Rooney, in my opinion, is not there yet, although he is showing great promise so far.
September 2, 200420 yr plus, Manchester United has a history of overpaying for players in the past, as they did with Rio Ferdinand, Juan Veron, and now Rooney.
