September 9, 200422 yr Starting for the FISH RHP Ismael Valdez (12-7, 5.23 ERA) Starting for the Muts- RHP Kris Benson (10-11, 4.68 ERA) Guys we must be careful with this guy and light him up early. Last time we faced him he only allowed two runs in about 8 and 1/3 innings when he was with the Pirates. Talking about Pirates being tough on us, he was one of the reasons. This guy can bring it. This should be a low scoring game. Mets will give Piazza and Floyd a rest, and eventually this game will come down to pitching, but whose going to stop these red-HOT fighting fish? Let's go for the sweep, I think we can do it! Up next (FRIDAY) Double-header Carl Pavano Vs. Mark Prior Logan Kensing Vs. Kerry Wood D-Train Vs. Carlos Zambrano The Cubs have lined up some fine pitching for us to deal with, but am more worried about the Kensing situation.......I hope we pull though! GO FISH!
