8)Pictures may be posted as long as they are not explicive or offensive. If you plan to post more than one image, or the topic is based on graphics, please link the images rather than screening.

Signatures may contain images, but may not be any larger than 300 Pixels high and 600 pixels wide; 468 (wide)x60(high) banners are also permitted (within reason). Please keep your sigs to one or two pics maximum. If your signature is larger than the allotted size given or deemed unacceptable by staff, you will be requested by a moderator to resize or change your image. Please also try and keep text signatures under 5 lines. Failing to comply with a moderator's request will result in the removal of your signature.

Advertising, commercial-related or competing products are all forbidden in any relation to your account including private messages.

There have been a significant amount of signature pictures and/or text which exceed the board limits.

Please either reduce the size and/or text of your signature or it will be removed bu Monday, September 20th, 2004. it doesn't matter whether you have one picture or several which add up to exceed board standards. it doesn't matter whether you have one continuous sentence of text or several.

All members must be treated alike. We are on these boards because we share a common interest. Let's keep these boards running smoothly.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and support.

Eddie is the least of my worries. We have posters who have multiple pics in their sig, and 15+ lines of text. All of which eat up bandwidth and slows down those people who have dial up connections.

Not one in the same. The dial up user is slowed by the people with multiple pics.

There is also no reason to be sucking up that much bandwidth for no real reason. Use too much bandwidth, lose the site for a while.

Yeah, coming from a web host..bandwidth can cost mucho $$..and useless & unneeded images use it, esp. when in sigs

I know I was just saying sig pics don't bother me much and I have dial-up but usually the sig pics are worth the load unless it's one of those OmGmIgGyIsSohOtBaBiI8924.
