I think it started off great and slowly went downhill. Beginning of the season I saw several games near 40k, but lately I haven't seen as much (That I've gone to)..and of course not many people can afford it for their family. I know, 6 bucks, cheap, but those seats do go fast on weekends when most want to go. One day, I saw Infield box, Fish Tank, Upper Deck and Outfield Reserve all sold out. 18 bucks a ticket is a tad much for some. The rain isn't that big of an issue for me, you can see the rain delay possibility - but it doesn't happen much..if you don't like rain: club level for you. One thing I do dislike, is how "crowded" the stadium is....

"Let's jam everyone in so we can get more seats and only open half the stadium!"

Even skinny people have no leg room, let alone larger people. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not huge or anything, I'm just large (6'1" or so) and it's not always comfy, although it isn't too bad as long as nobody is next to you. Parking, 10 bucks, adds to it all. So think of it, a night at the game, costs 12-18 per ticket, for a family night out, say four people: 48 for tickets, 10 for parking, and then food, 6$ per meal at a minimum, then $4 drinks. I think parking is a tad much, but that's just me, 5$ parking would be great...but I guess you can say "It's just 5 bucks" .. but think how many games you go to. 10 games, $100 in parking...that's another 8 games tickets! I know, not everyone is cheap, but hey..just my opinion: i hope our new park has realistic parking prices!

A season like 2004 shows that we need to be able to afford to keep our current players and invest in another player or two. You have to spend money, to make money.

Almost any other world series champion sees ginormous increases in attendance, but we are still only putting 21,000 in the seats. We really need to be putting 30,000 in the seats every night.

You have to realize there are industry standards when it comes to prices at events. Marlins tickets are probably priced on the lower end of things. ALL stadiums are overpriced when it comes to food and parking. I went to AAA once and paid 20 bucks to park there. That's just how it goes. Don't like it-don't park or eat there.

As for leg room, I'm not skinny but I am short and the legroom is fine for me. It is annoying to be next to a tall person though because they don't put their legs together and are all up in my space. But again.. what big venue isn't kinda cramped?
