September 22, 200421 yr Ichiro went 5-5 against the Angels tonight and is now only 15 hits away from breaking the record with 11 games remaining so barring injury or intentional walks, he's almost a lock to break the record considering mathematically he needs only 1.36 hits per game for the rest of the year and he can and will definitely do that. Go here for the Ichiro hit tracker (note, it has not been updated with his 5-5 performance yet): http://seattle.mariners.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb..._tory/index.jsp

September 22, 200421 yr Pitchers better throw to him though. If they start pitching around him that would be ridiculous. I doubt that would happen but ya never know

I'm really rooting for Ichiro, he's awesome.
