Something to think about.

I was listening to a song a while ago by Dark Lotus, and in part of the song, they brought up a very good point. There are a lot of people, religious and not who say sh*t like "Oh, if there was a god, he wouldn't have let billy die like that" or "If there was a God, there wouldn't be war" or "If there was a God, he wouldn't have let this, this, and that happen."

Well, what people don't think about is all of the great things that God does for them. God may have saved you from getting hit by a car or being shot. God may have healed those broken bones and cured your sickness. God does everything for you and helps you. Everyday that you are alive, God is with you, helping you.

Think about that before you say there isn't a God. He's looking out for you, whether you know it or not.

Why couldn't it just be that humans make their own path in life and God has nothing to do with it? I don't believe for one second that a God has time to meddle in the affairs all 6 billion people on this world -- Things happen. That's life. There doesn't always have to be a divine explination for them. I believe humans make their own path in life. Wars happen not because God lets them happen, but because humans make the choice to start wars. You heal by your own body and medicine, not because God chose to save you. I suppose it's nice to think you have a God or guardian angel looking over you, but I think that of the two possiblities, this is the least likely.

Free will.

When I was in a car crash, the other car was inches away from seriously injuring me, or hitting the gas tank. Yep, there's a god alright.

So if that car hit you, what would that mean? Because I'm quite sure that somewhere, sometime, a religious person was in a similar situation & got hit by the car.

Nothing that happens on Earth proves a divine existence.

Religion is 100% faith based. I don't even bother looking for proof.
