September 30, 200422 yr :censored Do we have a agenda here, why don't you take your hand out Wayne's pockets Do you think we didn't see this coming...you writing this trash the day after the Expos played there last game. What's your goals to cause disrray and panic among those that are trying to make it work? Your a real class act, why do you even write about baseball in this town? when its obvious your help those that are trying to run it out of town So I say from the bottom of my heart :fyou http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/sfl-mik...la-sports-front I'm sorry Admin, but it had to be said...
September 30, 200422 yr Whoa, I think you're freaking out a bit here. This article is nothing new. It says something we all know...it COULD happen, but it's not likely. Considering the 36 percent spike in home attendance this season and strong gains in corporate sponsorships, the Marlins probably aren't going anywhere, stadium or no stadium. Nor is Major League Baseball all that interested in abandoning its gateway to the Caribbean. Chill pills plz
September 30, 200422 yr Yep... nothing too exciting in this twice-warmed commentary. I don't see an agenda, just a hackneyed sports writer grasping for something to write about on an off-day.
September 30, 200422 yr Seriously chill. The stadium deal is far from completed and people ARE wondering 'who's next?'. What do you want him to write about? The battle for second place? Atleast Mike Berardino and Dan Le Batard come up with columns far more interesting than the fluff pieces Kevin Baxter writes.
September 30, 200422 yr Author Take a chill pill? No agenda? I understand some might think this nothing, and I'm just making a big deal about nothing...But let me ask you as fans does it make you feel good and secure about your team staying, when you see pieces like this one? I would think NOT. Its unnecessary, especially when the organization has try so hard to squash rumors like this and changing people's thinking about the team leaving to another city. I ask WHY? the agenda, well put two and two together. Why would a fan not attend Marlin games? No belief in the team staying, no belief in the organization...Why would they leave? attendance! and no support for a new home. Maybe I overreacted a bit, but when its coming from a snake like that, do you think that maybe... just maybe there something behind it. :mad :

Most of us here breath and eat Marlins baseball and we know Berardino and the likes. But when an average fan read this crap he is going to think twice in investing time and money on a team that "may be the next target to move or whatever . . . ."
October 1, 200422 yr I agree with teal shadow. This guy always jumps at negativity. There is nothing to this story and no need to write it. Bud was down here a month ago stating MLB's commitment to south florida. Ever since this guy slammed the FO about AJ's injury last year, he has been extremely negative.
