Rarity and Value

Recommended Posts

Your best bet is to check ebay and gamestop.com to see what this stuff goes for. I know they still have listings for the really popular stuff (like Chrono Trigger, etc.), but if there's no demand for it you probably won't find it.

The title of this topic reminds me of my old neighbor who has a small warehouse full of baseball cards. He's got a couple of Babe Ruth rookie cards, and if you needed anything from the first cards until now, he'd have them. Best part is, he can't sell them. There is absolutely no market for that stuff. No one is willing to pay "what it's worth" for some of those cards (I've made some offers along the lines of a Pete Rose rookie card; no dice everytime). The only cards he HAS sold are Jordan cards and it's mainly because he's got tons of the things and can afford to sell them for a little less than market value.
